Customer Care Representative


Job Description: Receives and resolves subscriber inquiries, generate cancellation forms, assist in reducing attrition, capture new, conversion and takeover leads, schedule repair service, resolve billing questions and process credits, lend limited technical support to customers on operating their alarm system. Work closely with Supervisor on input and tracking account data changes and updates. Respond to alarm activity. Process new contracts through the database. Other duties may be assigned as the need arises.

Type of Position: Full Time/ Part Time

Required Education or Formal Training:

  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • A min of 3-5 years of customer service in a like environment, to include Basic Math and Accounting skills

Required Skills and/or Knowledge:

  • Self-Motivated, able to work independently and /or in a team support environment
  • Strong verbal and written communciation skills in person and on the telephone.
  • Must be able to type and enter pertinent information on the computer and read various instructions.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Must be able to use a calculator, telephone, PC/keyboard and various office machines.
  • Prepare documents according to established company guidelines.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Comfortable with cold-calling and resolve customer matters to achieve total subscriber satisfaction.
  • Have reliable transportation.


  • Bilingual a Must. Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Drug testing and credit check required
  • Successful passing of FBI fingerprinting, and criminal background check required

Physical Requirements:

  • must be able to lift and carry boxes/packages up to 10 lbs, and able to push and pull file cabinet/desk drawers open and close.
  • Sit in a chair at a desk for approximately 7 or more hours daily.
  • Retrieve items/supplies on overhead shelves and bend/stoop to reach files located in bottom file cabinets.
